Picture It! The Golden Girls Are Coming to a Big Screen Near You

Picture it!  Sicily, 2021. Well, okay.  So, don't picture Sicily exactly.  Picture Owensboro, Kentucky.  Or picture Evansville, Indiana.  And picture yourself sitting in a big old movie theatre recliner.  You've got your feet propped up.  You've got a huge, refillable tub of popcorn.  You're slurping on a bladder buster and you're watching Dorothy, Rose, Blanche and Sophia on the big screen.  Yep!  That's right.  The Golden Girls, one of the most popular television shows of all time, is coming to the movies.

Fathom Events just announced Forever Golden!  It's "a celebration of the Golden Girls" that will hit select movie theatres around the country in September.  And Golden Girls fans in the tristate, it's time to get pumped!  They're coming to Owensboro and Evansville on Tuesday, September 14th and Tuesday, September 21st.

According to Fathom, Forever Golden! will feature "a special screening of some of the most memorable episodes from the series."

If you want to catch The Golden Girls at Owensboro's Malco Cinema Grill, you can do so by CLICKING HERE!  Adult and child tickets are $14.31 a piece.  The Malco is located at 2700 Calument Trace.  Showtime each of the two special event nights is 7pm.

If you want to catch The Golden Girls in Evansville, you can do so at the AMC Evansville 16.  Tickets there, for adults and children, are $12.50 a piece. The AMC Evansville 16 is located at 5600 Pearl Drive and, like at the Malco, showtime each night is 7pm.
