Well, color me Magenta, and take me to the Rusty Anchor!  This is the type of stuff dreams are made of.  The iconic Golden Girls house is for sale in Southern California and may already have some Celebrity buyers.

Last night my notifications on Facebook so I checked to see what it was, wouldn't you know it my friends know me so well.  Thank You Ladies For Being A Friend.  They were all tagging me in the story announcing the house was for sale.

So, the home wasn't actually where they filmed the show but the outside was the inspiration for it all complete with backyard lanai.

The home is close to 3,000 square feet and has four-bedrooms, wildly painted rooms completely perfect for you and three of your best girls to pack up and run away from the rest of the world.

According to People.com; While the exterior is familiar to fans, the interior scenes of the show were shot on a soundstage, so the real spaces behind the famous facade won't look the same. The public has never seen inside the real home before as it's been owned by the same family since it was built in 1955.

Rumor has it that the house just went up for sale and already has the attention of some pretty popular home buyers.  Property Brothers, Drew & John Scott, have been interested in the home for some time and even mentioned dreaming of being able to renovate it.

The Lanai was always one of my favorite parts of the home.  I dreamed of having one as I got older to eat and have conversations on.  This one is even more beautiful than on the show.

If you have never watched the show here are some of the funniest moments.  It was a Friday night tradition in our house.  It is basically a rite of passage in our family to watch and know who the Golden Girls are.
