Gov. Beshear Promotes I-69 Project w/Announcement

Last week Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear announced plans to begin placing signage along the soon to be I-69 corridor. In preparation for this designation several million dollars in work needs to be completed. In this news conference several things are discussed by the Gov. and Mr. Chuck Wolfe. Mr. Wolfe is the Public Affairs Director with the Transportation Cabinet.

The most exciting news is indeed the funding for the prep work and the signs beginning to go up along almost 60 miles of Kentucky Roads. You can hear the excitment in Gov. Beshear's voice as he discusses with members of the media the plans to connect Kentucky with the rest of the country by way of I-69.
