Happy Flag Day and Father’s Day Weekend!

Today is Flag Day. On June 14, 1777, the flag was adopted by the Continental Congress. In 1914, the day was set aside to commemorate that event and in 1949 was officially established as Flag Day by an Act of Congress.

On last Sunday's Radio Church Chapel and Down Memory Lane programs WOMI featured patriotic music.  This Sunday the late Ms. Edith Bennett will feature Father's Day programming in the Radio Church Chapel, 5-7 a.m. and then from 9:00-9:30 also. In between, music of summer will be played in the 8 a.m. hour.  Please join us on air or online.
