Henderson County Latest to Issue Burn Ban in the Tri-State

Several counties across the Tri-State have issued burn bans for their residents due to the extremely dry conditions from the lack of significant rainfall over the past few weeks. Vanderburgh County added their name to the list late last week, and over the weekend, Henderson County Judge Executive, Brad Schneider added his county to the list.

Like the other bans, residents cannot start open fires in burn barrels, or in open ground. However, you are able to fire up the grill and cook up some burgers, brats, and/or dogs.

The ban is in effect until further notice.
