I Learn Something New Everyday…Thanks, Car Control Panel

It's an old saying. A cliche. And it's absolutely true. We learn something new everyday. And sometimes we really need it.

Sometimes we don't, but it's cool anyway.

Take, for example, my car's control panel. Well...ANYONE'S car control panel.

While I've committed the location of my car's gas tank to memory, I had no idea until just a few days go that there's a little arrow on a car's control panel that points the driver in the direction of the tank.

With many cars now having gas tanks on the opposite side of the driver, I can see where someone decided that was necessary.

It reminds me of when I learned what those notches at either end of aluminum foil rolls are for.
