This Neighborhood Joint Is Guy Fieri’s Favorite KY Restaurant
There are still plenty of restaurants in Kentucky that Food Network's Guy Fieri has yet to visit. It's not like he's ignored the Bluegrass State--that's hardly the case--but we have so many great eateries here that he needs to return.
Guy Fieri Has a Restaurant in Downtown Louisville
And I'm sure he will but maybe in an official/unofficial capacity. In other words, since he has a restaurant in downtown Louisville, he might be back in the Commonwealth on official RESTAURANT business while leaving the cameras at home.
Louisville has become quite the destination for foodies; the NuLu area is flush with taste-tempting options, for example. So it makes sense that someone like Fieri would want to join the fray.
Guy Fieri's Favorite Kentucky Restaurant -- Gralehaus
Since there are so many trips to Derby City under his belt, you gotta figure Guy Fieri has to have a favorite...even if he has CLEARLY enjoyed them all. Well, not only does he have a favorite, he hasn't shied away from making it known. (If you're involved with any of the OTHER restaurants where he's filmed, I'd stop reading; he didn't pick you.)
Nope, THIS is Guy's favorite Louisville restaurant:
A Little Gralehaus Backstory and the Menu
Located on Baxter Avenue, in one of my favorite Louisville neighborhoods, Gralehaus is a B & B. Only here, B & B stands for "bed and beverage." Yes, there are guest rooms upstairs, and whole of food and drink downstairs in this 9-year-old hotspot. But despite the fact that the second "B" stands for "beverage," you can absolutely order breakfast at Gralehaus, which is open from 9 AM to 2 PM. And the menu? Reasonably priced, in my opinion, and maybe even a little whimsical.
So what's Guy's favorite ITEM at Gralehaus? Why, it would be the fried bologna sandwich. Sounds like he's a man after my own heart.
