Evelyn Miller, who owns Windy Hollow Biscuit House in Owensboro, Kentucky, has long appreciated and understood the importance of the U.S.Military. Her father Hal and his twin brother Tom both served in World War II. With Thursday being December 7th- Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, Evelyn knew that she wanted to do something special to commemorate the day.

Just a couple of weeks ago, on Thanksgiving Day, they and their staff opened the restaurant and served a $2.50 Thanksgiving buffet. By the time 3pm rolled around, they had served over 600 people. "Something special" is the dish they serve up most often and, with their #100DayCelebration, they're doing it day after day, week after week.

Here's an example of their special events for this week:

The 100 Day Celebration continues with FREE Banana pudding with any food purchase. Also, we have our 1/4 classic burger on sale for just $5.
And, of course, they're changing up their buffet offerings daily. But the most impactful day this week will be Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
