This beloved Evansville tradition isn't just about quenching your thirst on a hot day. It's about raising crucial funds to support the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center and the incredible work they do for children and adults with disabilities.
What to Expect at the LemonAid Stand for Easterseals
Mark your calendars for Thursday, May 30th from 11 am to 1 pm. Head over to the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center at 3701 Bellemeade Avenue for a fun-filled event coordinated by the amazing Wells family.
- Classic Refreshments: Cool off with refreshing lemonade and lemonade slushies – after all, it is a lemonade stand!
- Delicious Eats Go Beyond Lemonade: This year's stand goes gourmet with a selection of burgers, barbeque, hot dogs, and ice cream! Don't forget to grab some delicious baked goods too.
- Silent Auction Steals: Looking for a fantastic deal while supporting a great cause? Check out the online silent auction with amazing items up for grabs. You can start bidding now with this link. The auction closes at 5 pm (CDT) on May 30th, so don't miss out!
- Faster Service, More Fun: The organizers have revamped the ordering system for a smoother experience, meaning less waiting and more time to enjoy the festivities!

The LemonAid Stand for Easterseals is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a yummy lunch and make a real difference in the lives of local children and adults with disabilities. Every contribution helps Easterseals provide vital programs and services that empower individuals to live, learn, work, and play to their full potential.
Last year's event raised more than $6,000 for Easterseals Rehabilitation Center.

The annual fundraiser is organized and put on by Abby Wells, with help from her mom, dad, and brothers. Easterseals holds a special place in the family's hearts as Abby has been a client of the Rehab Center after being diagnosed with a genetic disorder called PCH Type 1B when she was 18 months old.
Proceeds from the stand will go directly to the Easterseals Rehab Center so they can continue providing physical, occupational, and speech therapy to adults and children with disabilities. This event alone has helped raise more than $105,000 over the past 27 years.
