Jasper Principal Announces School Closing with Song Parody [AUDIO]
Principal Tyler Lemen at Holy Trinity school in Jasper jumped on the "unique snow day announcement" bandwagon Wednesday evening by belting out a parody of Leonard Cohen's classic, "Hallelujah" in a phone message to parents.
The message was shared Thursday morning by our media partners at Eyewitness News. For a phone message, Lemen shows he has a pretty impressive singing voice. Take a listen.
Lemen isn't the first Principal in the area to tell students and parents school was closed in a unique way. Last week, Evansville Christian School Principal, Mike Allen went all out with a multi-voice spoof on Justin Bieber's "I'm the One" called "Snow Day Number One."
