The 12 cases of COVID-19 (as of March 13, 2020) in Kentucky seem to be clustered in relatively close proximity, according to a map at Kentucky.com.

The map shows that patients in Jefferson, Fayette, Harrison, and Montgomery counties have tested positive. There is also one from an unknown location.

The first case of novel coronavirus that was reported in the Commonwealth was a woman from Harrison County who, according to WKYT-Lexington, got really sick, to the point of being put on a ventilator.

However, she has recovered after two tests came back negative. She has been discharged from the hospital.

The judge-executive in Harrison County says there are still six active cases there, all  connected.

These current patients, along with ones in Jefferson, Fayette, and Montgomery counties are recovering at home.
