KMEA National Anthem Tradition

On Friday afternoon, I was introduced to a tradition with which I was not familiar. And it's one of the most extraordinary, spine-tingling things I've ever heard.

Every first weekend in February, the Kentucky Music Educators Association Professional Development Conference is held in Louisville.

I believe it's held every year at the Hyatt Regency. At any rate, it was this year.

Anyway, it's a tradition for all the music students to gather on the balconies of the hotel on all floors on which they are staying and sing the National Anthem.

This. Is. Amazing!

There are those of you who probably already know all about this, but I'm new to this game.
