An angry Mitch McConnell took to the Senate floor today to call on the administration to bring an end to the stalemate on the upcoming Student Loan interst rate hike.


An agreement is easily within reach, claims the Republican Party Leader. He went on to say, "The only reason this issue isn’t already resolved — the only reason — is that the President wants to keep it alive. He thinks it benefits him politically for college students to believe we’re the problem. It’s time to stop the games. It’s time for the President to act.’

McConnell then called for the President to stop playing politics and act on the agreement. Listen to
