McLean County’s Lane Goodwin Remembered on Graduation Day
It's hard to believe it's been six years since Lane Goodwin's remarkable courage battling rhabdomyosarcoma--a battle he sadly and ultimately lost--rallied a planet into giving this extraordinary young man a big "thumbs up," kicking off a movement that resonates to this day.
Well, today would be Lane's graduation day and the Thumbs Up for Lane Goodwin Childhood Cancer Foundation has posted a series of pictures to commemorate the occasion and his bravery and determination.
The foundation's mission--"to support childhood cancer research through funding and advocacy while empowering families battling childhood cancer by providing education, financial assistance and a volunteer network"--continues and to find out more go to thumbsupforlane.org/about/our-mission.
