Native American Celebration this Saturday at KWC
Coming up this Saturday (11/2), grab your lawn chair and head to the front lawn of Kentucky Wesleyan College as they host a Native American Celebration
The celebration will include all facets of Native American life, including storytelling, a mobile museum, tipi and flute presentations by Regina Laughing, crafts, dancers, Istayapi drummers, and education programs. MC will be Hawk Laughing.
Veterans will be honored. Lake's Traditional Food will be there as well.
The event is coming up Saturday, 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. *In case of inclement weather, the event will move inside to Rogers Hall, time may be subject to change.
The Native American Celebration is presented by the Owensboro Human Relations Commission in association with the Owensboro Museum of Science & History and the Kentucky Native American Heritage Museum.
November is Native American Heritage Month.
