NWS Paducah Looking for CoCoRaHS Observers
Huh? The National Weather Service at Paducah, which serves a majority of the Tri-State is looking for observers who can keep tabs on snowfall and rainfall.
This map shows where all the CoCoRaHS observers are now:
They need help in a couple of counties in Western Kentucky and in Southern Illinois.
In Western Kentucky: Caldwell, Calloway, Crittenden, Fulton, Hickman, Lyon, Marshall, McCracken, McLean, Union, and Webster. The rest of the counties, information, and a link to sign up can be found HERE.
When approved, observes can report their measurements through the CoCoRaHS app.
By the way CoCoRaHS stands for Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow (Network).
