Owensboro Air Show This Weekend

It's almost here! The Owensboro Air Show is this Saturday at 1pm downtown over the Ohio River. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to English Park or Smothers Park to catch all the amazing aerobatics. The Country Station! 92.5 WBKR will be live on location with Barb Birgy's show beginning at 10am. And don't forget, a few of performers and their planes will be putting on a mini-show at the Owensboro Regional Airport this Friday night 4pm-9pm. Admission is $2.00 and kids 10 and under are free!

Our sister station, 1490 WOMI, will carry live coverage of the air show itself beginning at 1pm Saturday. If you want to listen in on all the fun or if you are at the show, be sure to download the Radio Pup app for your iPhone or Android device.

Reminders: No reserved seating will be available for the main event. All viewing areas at English and Smothers Parks will be on a first come, first served basis. Parking for the event will also be limited to the first two levels of the parking garage on Daviess St.
