Owensboro Band Places 7th in State Competition [PHOTOS]

The community is so proud of the Owensboro Band and their accomplishments over the weekend that we had to share!

Unless you're in a school band or a band parent, I don't think anyone can understand how hard these musicians work. I played the saxophone in Jr. High and I know it took a lot of work to learn the craft and to medal with the band or as a soloist. Leading up to a State Competition you really have to give it your all. So, it's exciting when all of the hard work pays off and you place higher than you've placed in several years. That's exactly what happened for the Owensboro Band over the weekend!
