
Electrocution Likely the Cause of Owensboro Blue Bridge Worker’s Death
A worker on Owensboro's Blue Bridge who suffered injuries Monday evening has died. Daviess County coroner Jeff Jones has confirmed that burns on the hands of the 35-year-old repair crew member are consistent with electrocution.

Owensboro's Blue Bridge--the Glover Cary Bridge--was closed the day after the International Bar-B-Q Festival and will be closed for six months as crews paint and make necessary repairs to the 73-year-old Owensboro icon.
