Owensboro Family YMCA Finalist For 2014 Impact 100 Grant

The YMCA announced last week they have learned they are one of five finalists for this year's Impact 100 Grant.

Impact 100 will announce the winners of 2 $100,000 grants for projects presented by five organizations on October 23. The YMCA's project proposal is the addition of a second floor at the Family Branch over what is now the wrestling room and former X-zone. The second floor will allow for an expanded game room on the backside of the gym and a multipurpose room on the first floor to be used for FITS classes and other programming.

Impact 100 is a community of women that seeks to transform the lives in the Greater Owensboro area through high-impact and lifelong giving.
