Owensboro Police Evacuate Budget Inn; Man in Custody

Owensboro police had to evacuate the Budget Inn at 3rd and Crittenden earlier this afternoon.

U.S. Marshals were attempting to serve a warrant on a man who was refusing to come out of his room.

But the situation appears to have been resolved as police now have the man n custody.

No word on the nature of the warrant U.S. Marshals were trying to serve.
