Owensboro Police Investigating Possible Homicide

Tuesday afternoon, Owensboro police responded to call that led them to Placid Place residence where they learned there had been a possible homicide.

What began as an investigation into a suicide attempt has potentially turned into a homicide investigation.

Police first responded to a residence in the 2200 block of Barron Drive where they learned that a man had attempted suicide.

What they found out there sent them to the 3200 block of Placid Place.

When police arrived, they found a woman dead at the residence.

The man from the Barron Drive home is currently at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
