Owensboro Public Pools Set to Celebrate Special July Holidays

Let me think...isn't there some kind of holiday during July? Oh wait...don't help me...I think I've got it--National Ice Cream Day, National Parents Day, and National Hot Dog Day!

Oh well, yeah, there's the big one on the Fourth of July. In fact, it's SO big we spell it out capitalize the date.

But Independence Day isn't the only reason to celebrate in July.

And Owensboro Parks & Recreation public pools know that and are ready to do some celebrating!

On Sunday, July 15th, it's National Ice Cream Day with a buy one get one free ice cream special. On National Parents Day, July 22nd, kids will get in for ONE DOLLAR and parents get in FREE!

One day later, on July 23rd--and at Combest Pool ONLY--come celebrate National Hot Dog Day (YES!). At Combest on the 23rd, patrons will get a free hot dog coupon with each paid admission, while supplies last.

See, July isn't just Independence Day and 30 other days anymore!
