Owensboro Senior Alum Aric Holman Declaring for NBA Draft

While all the talk about which UK players will declare for the NBA Draft in June, an Owensboro native has made his decision. 

Mississippi State junior power forward Aric Holman has declared for the the draft, but he will not hire an agent. He is, as they say, "testing the waters".

Players have until April 22nd to declare for the draft. Next step is optional participation in the NBA Draft Combine which will be held May 16-20 in Chicago. May 30th is the last day a player can withdraw from the draft and remain eligible for college play. The NBA Draft is June 21st.

The 6-10 Holman finished this past season averaging 10.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game for the Bulldogs. Mississippi State ended the season with a defeat in the NIT semi-finals and they finished 7th in the SEC.
