Every time I drive past Popeyes, it always seems like a party in the drive thru. I don't understand the hype about Popeyes, but maybe after trying them for this special deal I'll think differently! Back on June 12th, 1972, Popeyes was founded in New Orleans by Alan Copeland, a successful entrepreneur. When he opened the chain, chicken was sold for less than a dollar.
Now, fast forward 50 years later! They're celebrating their 50th anniversary and offering two pieces of their original, world-famous chicken for just 59 cents just like in 1972.
In honor of this special day, Popeyes is having a one week deal to honor it's 50 years in business. From June 12th-19th, if you use the Popeyes Mobile App or website to order at least $5 worth of food, you will get two pieces of original chicken for 59 cents.
