Brad has been diagnosed with Central Nervous System Lymphoma. It is a type of cancer that affects the brain. He's been in Nashville for almost a month in ICU and is need of prayers from our beautiful community.

Come out to St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church tonight, Friday, March 1st, 2019 from 7 PM – 8 PM and support one of our own through prayer.

There is also a gofundme page set up to help the family with medical and travel expenses if you wish to donate HERE. Brad has a long road ahead of him and we just pray for his health, his wife Chrissy and his beautiful family.

"Brad Whitledge is having some medical issues. This journey started for Brad in May 2017 when he lost the ability to move his left arm and leg. After numerous doctor visits and test a brain biopsy was performed in August of the same year and much to everyone’s surprise the diagnosis was not cancer. Brad continued to work and life seemed normal until this past August when Brads health took a turn for the worse. After treatments and doctors visits, including a trip to the Mayo Clinic Brads health continued to decline. He has spent the last three weeks in the Neuro ICU at Vanderbilt. Finally, on February 22nd another biopsy was performed and a final diagnosis was made of Central Nervous System (CNS) Lymphoma. This type of cancer that effects the brain. As you can imagine the family is devastated and waiting to hear treatment options. Brad has a wife and three kids who love him dearly. This is going to be a long road for them so we are asking for any donations no matter how small. All donations will go toward their many trips to Vanderbilt and medical bills. The family also wants to say thank you to those who have already donated, sent cards, or bought food."
