Coming up on August 17th, Two-time NFL defensive player of the year, basic beast of the NFL and 12 time legendary Pro Bowler, Ray Lewis will be at McCracken County high School, Strawberry Hills Pharmacy Arena for "An Evening of Excellence".

Lewis played his entire career up through 2012 with the Baltimore Ravens and his hard hits and determination helped the franchise win Super Bowl titles XXXV and XLVII.  Lewis played in 228 games in his career and achieved 41.5 sacks and 31 interceptions.  Lewis is a franchise leader in many categories, including tackles, fumble recoveries, games played and playoff games.

Lewis is involved in charitable activities, motivational speaking and mentoring.  Apparently he's a really nice guy.  Some would think otherwise if they looked at the picture provided.  He started the Ray Lewis 52 Foundation that provieds personal and economic assistance to disadvantaged youth.  In May 2010, a portion of Baltimore's North Avenue was renamed "Ray Lewis Way" in honor of his charitable work.

Go see Ray at McCracken County High School, August 17th at 7:00pm!  Don't look at him in his eyes though, he might eat you.
