While other results in the Commonwealth are too close to call this evening, there has been a declaration of victory in the race for Governor.
Businessman Matt Bevin Challenges Senate Minority Leader McConnell In Primary Election
Republican Matt Bevin has defeated Democrat Jack Conway and will be the next Governor of Kentucky. While a portion of votes in the Commonwealth are still being tabulated, Bevin's margin of victory is projected to be roughly seven percentage points: Bevin 51% to Conway's 44%. Independent candidate Drew Curtis polled just under 4% of the votes.
