My husband and I live on the outskirts of Newburgh and we were discussing this past week that though it's a pretty happenin' place, there really aren't that many restaurant choices in the Newburgh area. Most places are fast-food or upscale so the middle of the road eateries are pretty scarce. But, a new restaurant opened its doors a couple weeks ago and we had the pleasure of trying it out.

Nestled on 261 in the former Inlumi building, Sakura is offering Japanese cuisine. We tried hibachi steak, chicken, and shrimp for two which came with salad with a ginger dressing, a clear mushroom soup, a fried spring roll, and hibachi.

The restaurant is also offering sushi. If you give it a try, tell us what you think about your experience!
