Hundreds of area seniors are expected to fill Owensboro’s Towne Square Mall next Thursday, September 22nd from 8;30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the 12th Annual Senior Day Out.
GRADD is partnering with Towne Square Mall, Kentucky State Police, Green River Regional Council of Citizen Corps, and Green River TRIAD to present an exciting day of education and entertainment. Attendees can learn about disaster preparedness, consumer fraud, identity theft, and elder abuse; participate in an expired drug toss; and enjoy food, fun, and live music.
Presenters will include: Bryant Stiles (Kentucky Office of Homeland Security), Lori Farris (Kentucky Attorney General’s Office), Vicki Martin (Kentucky Emergency Response – Region 2), Wayne Hart (News 25 Chief Meteorologist), Jennifer Allen (Old National Bank) and, Jeff Rascoe (Owensboro Fire Department).
Performers will include:
Brad McCrady as Elvis Presley
Larry Maglinger as Rod Stewart
Heartfelt Gospel Band
