Lights Over Gatlinburg is set to begin in mid-November and will provide visitors with impeccable views of one of the nation's top tourist destinations.

Obviously, you don't mess with bears. But in Gatlinburg, steer clear of prank-loving raccoons, too. Don't tell ME they don't know what they're doing.

Gatlinburg is most famous for all the different attractions all over the town.  You always expect to see at least one bear while visiting the mountains but they seem to keep the element of surprise and pop up in the craziest places. Luby's was a family tradition for us when we'd visit my aunt in Texas. And on a couple of visits to Fuddruckers, I found the pride they have in their amazing burgers proved to be quite justified.

Unlike most people who've visited Gatlinburg, I have never seen a bear when I've been there. And I certainly don't want to see one in THIS type of setting.

Gatlinburg knows how to entertain in the fall. And they have lined up some amazing festivals and events befitting the best season of the year.

Food is probably at the top of our priority list when it comes to vacation requirements.  We make sure to eat at non-chain restaurants or hole in the wall joints because they are the best.  We found a pizza place in downtown Gatlinburg that's a slice of pizza heaven...

OMG!  Angel here, Joe and I took a long weekend to the mountains and stayed in a cabin called OMG!  The views were amazing and the inside was perfect.  You have to see it for yourself. As OCD of a person that I am I hardly ever truly plan out getaways...

It's a dome house and it's only big enough for two. Decorated beautifully, it has a country chic feel. I know from the outside it looks kinda simple, but wait until you see the inside. It's secluded, private and romantic. Just what I'm looking for.
