DOWNTOWN CONVENTION CENTER STEERING COMMITTEE MEETING The Downtown Convention Center Steering Committee will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 1:30 p.m., CST, in the Commission Chambers at City Hall, 101 E. 4th Street, Owensboro, KY to consider approval of the final design of the Convention and Events Center.

Like everyone else I have been listening to the years of discussions about the new Events/Convention Center for Owensboro. It was funded without plans at a PROPOSED level. Since that time ( I can't recall how many years) the cost has gone up and so has the square footage.
