Well, maybe praised is a strong word. But, it is true the Missouri has been recognized for having the least expensive cigarette prices in the United States.
I want to be clear that I'm not judging. I just find it interesting that a new study says that Missouri has one of the highest smoking rates in America.
It's no secret the state of Kentucky has one if not the highest lung cancer rates in the country. Thus, cigarette taxes have gone up 50 cents a pack, a health initiative, Quit Now Kentucky, has been ongoing, but now if state senator gets his way, employees who smoke would face discrimination.
