mystery critter of some sort in our morning assembly.

annual Thanksgiving play, ‘A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving’ in the gym.

Tuesday – 1 pm in the Gym –Day of the Stars.  Students will be recognized with medals and trophies for their individual test performance on the KCCT test in the

On Nov. 21 and 22 (the two days before thanksgiving break), Kim Johnson with Joy Johnson studio will be here to teach Native American Dance to our K-2 classes.  Below is the schedule:

Monday and Tuesday

8-9 a.m. – Second Grade (all classes and all specials teachers will be in the gym at this time – teachers still have planning but this is your specials for the day.)

9-10 a.m. – Kindergarten (all classes and all specials teachers will be in the gym at this time – teachers still have planning but this is your specials for the day.  There will be no 5th grade specials at this time.  You will come from 1-2)

10-11 a.m. – First Grade (all classes and all specials teachers will be in the gym at this time – teachers still have planning but this is your specials for the day.)
noon-1 p.m. - 3rd and 4th grade will go to their normal specials classes for the day during this time.

1-2 p.m. – 5th grade will go to their normal specials classes for the day during this time.

Here’s an opportunity to feature a very unique Thanksgiving feast –On
Tuesday, Beacon will hold its 3rd Annual Sorghum and Biscuits Day. We
will pause at around 10:30am for a treat of Sorghum and Biscuits and
also have our Student/Staff volleyball game. Biscuits baked by food service staff at College View Middle School; served by BCHS staff members Mike Fallin, Nancy Grimsley and Holly Ebelhar.
