Uber and Lyft Could Be Coming to the City of Owensboro

An exciting announcement Thursday at the monthly Rooster Booster breakfast.  Uber and Lyft could be coming to Owensboro and soon.

Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Candance Brake made the exciting announcement and added that the city could be getting Uber and Lyft very soon.  She encouraged the crowd the go ahead and download the Uber and Lyft apps in anticipation of a big announcement expected in the coming weeks.

Both companies currently operate in nearby cities.  Uber has drivers in Bowling Green, Louisville, Lexington and Evansville (just to name a few).  Lyft operates in Evansville, Bowling Green, Bardstown, Lexington, Louisville and more.
