UK Freshman Cam'Ron Fletcher Asked to Step Away From Team

The Kentucky Wildcats Men's Basketball team has really been through it so far this season. They are currently 1-5, which is their worst start since 1926. Now one freshman, dissatisfied with his playing time has been asked by Coach Calipari to take some time away from the team.

UK freshman forward Cam'Ron Fletcher was seen in tears on the UK bench in the Cats' 75-63 loss to North Carolina on Saturday. The freshman has seen fewer and fewer minutes and he only played four minutes against the Tar Heels. Fletcher made his first career start against Richmond back on November 29th which started the Cats' five-game losing streak.

Fletcher apologized to BBN after Saturday's bench display. Calipari announced Monday he is asking the freshman "to take some time and step away from the team".

We have asked Cam Fletcher to take some time and step away from the team. He needs to reflect and do some soul searching...
