On the heels of the announcement Kentucky would be playing in the Belk Bowl on New Year's Eve, junior starting quarterback Lynn Bowden, Jr. had an announcement of his own.

The quarterback, rusher, and wide receiver will enter the 2020 NFL Draft. Here's what he posted to Twitter Monday afternoon.

Bowden is a finalist for the Paul Hornung Award which goes to the nation's most versatile player. He leads the SEC in all-purpose yards at 153.0 per game and that stat doesn't include his passing yards. Monday morning, he was named AP First Team All-SEC at the all-purpose position.

The 2020 NFL Draft will be held in Paradise, Nevada on April 23-25.
