I found a really fun article on Insider over the weekend.  It's called "The Candy Everyone Was Obsessed With the Year You Were Born!"  And, yes!  You can look up your birth year to see which candy was flying out of store shelves and into peoples' mouths.

I was born in 1971, when the nation was still embracing the cravings they had for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

According to Insider, the very first national television ad campaign for Reese's launched in 1970 and catapulted the candy into American icon status!
