In their meeting, Whitfield and Chamber members discussed a wide variety of issues significant to both communities including energy issues facing Kentucky and the I-69 project and its importance to the region’s economic development

“I always find it helpful to meet with local business leaders when they are in Washington,” said Whitfield. “Small businesses are the engines of job growth in many of our communities and being able to hear about their needs and concerns is immensely helpful to my work in Washington.”
