Western Kentucky Botanical Garden Presents – The David Rogers Big Bugs Sculpture Exhibition
The big bugs are on the way! Beginning back on September 5th, David Rogers began building these enormous bugs at the Western Kentucky Botanical Garden. You can get a feel for how big these things are by checking out the picture and researching David Rogers on YouTube.
There is a fine list of things that are going to be happening at the Garden Starting on September 12th, including a Volkswagen Cruise In featured on the 15th. Also a scarecrow festival is being thrown into the mix on September 20th and 21st.
So get out there and enjoy some hand built, wooden sculptures of these big bugs!
The event is lasting up through October 30th. Here is the full list of things to come out at the garden
September 12th Thursday - Show opens 9am
September 15th Sunday - Cruise in 12-2:30
September 20th & 21st Friday & Saturday - Scarecrow Festival 10am - 2pm
September 29th Sunday - WannaBeatles 2pm - 5pm
October 6th Sunday - Independence Day sponsored by Independence Bank, Noon - 3pm
October 7th all week - Fall Break
October 20th Sunday - Membership Picnic 2pm - 5pm
