WNIN Launches Their Move To Main Campaign
Last week, WNIN in Evansville made a huge announcement about a new public media center coming soon.
The facility will be located at the former WEVV building at the corner of Main Street and Riverside Drive in downtown Evansville. Plans for the building include a 50-seat theater that will show PBS programs and local productions, a digital music studio, updated TV, radio, and online production facilities, and more learning opportunities for students in the Tri-State. This will lead to tremendous learning opportunities that students may not have been able to have otherwise. The current plan hopes to have WNIN in the public media center by August of this year. You can learn more about this endeavor by checking out what transpired at the news conference last week.
