The “Best Breakfast in Daviess County” is set for this Saturday, March 12th at 7:30 a.m. at Apollo High School with the Annual Farm/City Breakfast.

Kentucky Farm Bureau 2nd Vice President Eddie Melton is the guest speaker for the breakfast, which is co-sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and the Daviess County Farm Bureau. Melton is a grain and beef cattle farmer in Webster County and is also chair of the Southern States Cooperative, serves on the Kentucky Corn Growers Promotion Board and the Henderson Community College Foundation Board.

Billed as the “best breakfast in Daviess County,” the menu features bacon, sausage, ham, eggs and lots more. This is the 32nd annual event.

The breakfast is sponsored by the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce and the Daviess County Farm Bureau and is intended to bring together rural and urban interests for a common event.

Tickets are only $6 and can be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce at 200 E. 3rd Street or at the Farm Bureau office on Carter Road
