What Ohio County Equestrian, Inc. does for children and adults with special needs is simply amazing.

The organization provides therapeutic horseback riding for physically or mentally challenged children and adults and there is no charge to the rider.

It's a non-profit organization that's offered this service since 1998 and the difference it makes is immeasurable.

But it DOES depend on donations and that's where the 13th Annual Friends in Faith Benefit Horse and Mule Show comes in.

However you might mark a calendar in 2017, do so for Saturday, September 9th. It will begin at 2PM at the Ohio County Park.

The rain-or-shine event will be held at the park's indoor/outdoor arena with a donation gate fee of $5.

Plus there will be a class entry fee of $3 and all breeds are welcome.
