There have been a ton of things in the news lately about cruise ships that have had problems.  That one guy that did a barrel roll like the picture here.  Another caught fire earlier in the week and another broke down in the middle of the ocean.

My girlfriend Margaret and I were at her grandmothers house one morning and Grandma's Sister came over and they were talking about the cruise they were going on later in the year.  Turns out they now cant go. And its paid for.   Margaret and I are apparently the next in line for the big boat ride and all we would have to do is get to Florida, jump on the boat and sail. WRONG... here's the deal, we have to get passports because we are leaving the country, then drive to Florida, hop on a big boat that could potentially sink, if it doesn't sink, it does a loop around the bottom of Florida and the cruise is over 2 hours away from where it started.  Awesome, now I have to buy an airplane ticket to fly to where my car is, ( I have to fly because I'm not old enough to rent a car)  then jump back in the car and come back to Kentucky all in one week.   I cant go.

I always liked boating.  My dad had a little sailboat and that was fun.  But cruise ships seem sketchy lately in my opinion.  I said that with all the luck in my life, we would get out to the middle of the ocean and the back would catch on fire, the captain would smash bow first into a reef and the engines would stop working and we would flip over.  All in one big motion.
