This Is How Wet You Get on Cheetah Chase at Holiday World [Video]

The Great Cheetah Chase Race is coming up Saturday at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari. We have spent the last couple of weeks, with our friends at 99.5 WKDQ and MY 105.3 WJLT, getting 64 teams qualified for the main event. It's a 64-team NCAA Tournament-inspired bracket and the team who wins it all is going to snag a brand new Puma camper from Owensboro RV, three season passes to Holiday World and a year's supply of Mountain Dew.

Angel and I have ridden Cheetah Chase a bunch and we've raced against our coworkers multiple times. We LOVE the ride. First of all, it's really to fun to talk smack and compete against your friends. For the record, Angel and I have won more races than we've lost.

But our absolute favorite part of the ride is just how water-logged you get right out of the gates. In fact, what happens when you get to the top of the first hill is insane. It's fast, furious and wet. As you likely know, Cheetah Chase is the world's first launched water coaster and is an absolute "blast", literally and figuratively. And, YOU. WILL. GET. WET. ON. THIS.
