Lt. Bill Oost and Lt. Charles Drennan with the Civil Air Patrol were guests on the Joe Lowe Morning Show Friday Sept. 30. They talked about the CAP, it's history, what they do now and how to join.

The Civil Air Patrol also has a very active Cadet program for those 12-21 who have an interest in avation, the military or just helping others. The Cadet Program it seems is also a good source for college funding and grants.

With the local Squad. moving to the new National Guard Rediness Center soon this is a great time for citizens to be involved. There is NO military requirement and you don't have to be a pilot. Both men and women can join.

The interview is posted here for you to hear at your leisure. Information on joining is available on the Civil Air Patrol website.
