Congressman Brett Guthrie has a Busy Thursday

On Thursday Congressman Brett Guthrie will address the Greater Owensboro Chamber Rooster Booster at 7:30am. That address will be carried live on the Joe Lowe morning show.

Brescia University is the sponsor of the event, which will focus on education and workforce retooling. Late Thursday, Guthrie will hold a joint Academy Day Information Fair with Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY.).

The annual event is intended to provide information to high school students, recent graduates and parents regarding the U.S. Military (West Point), Naval, Air Force, Coast Guard, and the Merchant Marine academies, as well as the nomination process.
“I hope our young Kentuckians will consider the value of joining one of our excellent service academies,” said Congressman Guthrie, a West Point graduate. “I’m proud of my background and know how beneficial the combination of service and education can be.”
The information fair will be held on Thursday, September 6 from 5:30-8:30pm at the Carroll Knicely Conference Center located at 2355 Nashville Road in Bowling Green.
