Counterfeit Charges Filed Against Four Owensboro Residents
Detectives with the Owensboro Police Department, in cooperation with the United States Secret Service, have completed an investigation that started on March 6, 2012, concerning the transfer of counterfeit currency into the local Owensboro marketplace.
The counterfeit $100, and $20 bills were initially brought to the attention of Police after being contacted by a local bank. The investigation culminated in the below four persons being charged.
