Kentucky State Fair - Hot Brown on a Stick

Ah, the Kentucky State Fair. A Commonwealth tradition for generations. And a tradition that constantly ADDS traditions. It was the first place I ever had a turkey leg as a vendor item. And now I can say the same thing about a Hot Brown on a Stick!

The first time I ever had a hot brown was here in Owensboro at Gabe's Restaurant many years ago. But they were invented at the legendary Brown Hotel in downtown Louisville. I've had one there, too!

But for the first time ever, I ate a Hot Brown on a Stick at the Kentucky State Fair on Thursday.
