Daviess County COVID-19 Update: 51 Recovered, 4 in Hospital

As of this morning, the Green River District Health Department reported that Daviess County has 2 additional COVID-19 confirmed cases. The total number of reported cases in the district now stands at 148. Here's the statistics you need to know.

On Wednesday April 15th, 2020 the Green River District Health Department reported 5 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases – 2 in Daviess County, 2 in Henderson County, and 1 in McLean County. The total number of reported COVID-19 cases in the district is 148. Nine people in the district are currently hospitalized. Of the 148 confirmed cases in the district, 30 (20%) have required hospitalization. The district-wide total of recovered cases is now 75 (51%).

“We all play a part in stopping the spread of COVID-19. Stay home, avoid crowds, wash your hands, and practice physical social distancing – staying at least 6 feet away from others. We have to stick with this strategy. We can’t let our guard down.” said Clay Horton, Public Health Director. “It is crucial we do everything we can to stop the spread of COVID-19.”
